On February 13, 2025, Rep. Menendez expressed concern over rising inflation and egg prices, criticizing the current administration for not having a clear plan to lower costs for families. He stated: "Trump promised affordability BUT: Inflation is up 3% in 3 weeks @USDA predicts egg prices will rise another 20% That's why I joined my @DadsCaucus colleagues to figure out what the hell the administration’s plan is to lower prices. Families deserve answers, not excuses."

The following day, on February 14, Rep. Menendez participated in a Valentine's Day celebration with seniors in Harrison.
