Rep. Rob Menendez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 8th district, shared several updates via Twitter on February 9, 2025. Menendez, who succeeded Albio Sires in 2023, has been active in legislative and coordination efforts with local and state leaders.

In his first tweet of the day, Menendez emphasized his commitment to his constituents: "Please know that this is just the beginning. You sent me to Washington to fight for you, and that’s exactly what I’ll do - because there’s simply too much at stake."

Later, he addressed ongoing legal challenges faced by the Administration: "We are monitoring pending litigation which is challenging the Administration at every step. Menendez also discussed legislative measures aimed at data protection: "I cosponsored the Taxpayer Data Protection Act, which would limit who can access critical systems related to your data. Nobody voted for Elon Musk and his band of acolytes. And they should not be given unfettered access to your information without any accountability measures.…"
