On December 9, Rep. Menendez announced a significant allocation of funds from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) aimed at improving water infrastructure in Elizabeth City. "Today, I’m pleased to announce $3.1M from the @EPA to replace lead pipelines in @CityofElizabeth, ensuring clean water for the community." He highlighted previous funding efforts and ongoing requests for additional support to further this initiative.
