On November 20, 2024, he commemorated Transgender Day of Remembrance by honoring victims and survivors of anti-transgender hate crimes. He tweeted, "On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor the victims and survivors of anti-transgender hate crimes and mourn those we’ve lost to violence." Menendez called for continued efforts towards a world where everyone can live authentically without fear or harm.
Later that day, Rep. Menendez extended birthday wishes to President Biden while expressing gratitude for collaboration on infrastructure projects. In his tweet he said: "Happy Birthday @POTUS! It’s been an honor to work with your Administration to deliver wins for our district and @NJGov especially the advancement of the Gateway Program."
