Rep. Rob Menendez, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 8th district, shared several updates and reflections on various events through his Twitter account on April 13, 2025. His statements highlighted engagement both in legal matters and local community events.

On April 13, 2025, Menendez expressed his satisfaction after a meeting with the @ABAesq President in Washington, D.C. He noted, "Great to see the @ABAesq President in DC last week! I was proud to read Bill's powerful statement on the House Floor, and I will continue to stand alongside him in support of our federal judiciary." This meeting underlined his continued commitment to supporting the judiciary.

Later the same day, Menendez extended his congratulations to participants of the Jersey City Half and Full Marathons. In his post, he said, "Congratulations to everyone who participated in today’s @JerseyCity Half and Full Marathons!” He mentioned attending the event with his family to support the participants, underscoring his involvement in local events and community spirit.

Menendez also addressed immigration issues in his tweets that day. He criticized Alina Habba for perpetuating misleading narratives regarding deportations under the Trump Administration. He stated, "Alina Habba continues to push the Trump Administration’s false narrative that they are only deporting criminals." This message reflects his advocacy for fair immigration practices.

He was born in Hudson County, New Jersey, and he currently resides in Jersey City. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Menendez graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in 2008, followed by a JD from Rutgers University-Newark in 2011.
