Rob Menendez, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey's 8th district, shared his perspectives on various issues through a series of tweets posted on March 11, 2025. The tweets reflect his stance on government funding, immigration detention facilities, and environmental leadership.

In a tweet from March 11, 2025, Menendez expressed his opposition to a Republican funding bill, stating: "This goes far beyond keeping the government open - it enacts a harmful agenda that will impact every corner of @njgov and our country. That’s why I’m a F NO on this Republican funding bill."

Later that day, Menendez acknowledged the efforts of advocates against private immigration detention facilities. He tweeted: "I’m grateful to @rasjbaraka and all of the advocates today for making it clear that private immigration detention facilities like Delaney Hall run counter to the values of our district and state. Proud to stand with you in the fight to protect our immigrant communities, friends…"

Additionally, Menendez highlighted an event where he introduced Mayor Bollwage at an Energy Commerce hearing. He stated: "It was a special moment to get to introduce @MayorBollwage before our @EnergyCommerce hearing today! During his tenure as mayor, @CityofElizabeth has become a national leader in environmental remediation. Grateful that he could share his expertise with the committee today."
