There was a single gas station in cities across Hudson County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.85 per gallon in the week ending Apr. 27, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of premium gas in cities within Hudson County was $4.48 per gallon.

Of the 39 gas stations in cities within Hudson County, nine offer premium gas.

The average price of premium gas in New Jersey was $4.28, compared to $4.23 the week before.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
