On Wednesday, March 19, former Bayonne High School standout Michael Pellegrino’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Guilford Quakers.

The game took place at Edgar H. McBane Field. This was their first matchup against the Quakers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3:30 p.m. at Owen-Fulton Field against Shenandoah Hornets.
