The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced on April 24 that three New Jersey City University men’s volleyball players were selected for the 2026 All-Conference team. Juniors Marcus Pardasie and Amaru Perales earned First Team honors, while senior Alex Casais received honorable mention.

This recognition highlights the achievements of NJCU athletes during a notable season for the program. The selections reflect both individual performances and the team’s success throughout the year.

Pardasie was named to the First Team for a third consecutive year. He led his team with 279 kills, contributed 169 digs, and had 15 service aces. He ranked among conference leaders in several categories, including fourth in kills per set and points per set, sixth in digs per set, and eighth in hitting percentage. Pardasie also collected two NJAC Player of the Week awards, three CUNYAC Player of the Week selections, was named to the All-CUNYAC First Team, and earned a spot on the NCAA All-Regional Team.

Perales made an impact after returning from injury last season. He recorded a .367 hitting percentage—the highest in the conference—and led his team with 21 service aces and 77 total blocks. Perales finished third in blocks per set within the conference rankings and received both NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors and an All-CUNYAC First Team selection.

Casais ended his collegiate career by earning honorable mention for a second straight year. As setter, he posted 915 assists and matched for most blocks on his team with 77. Casais also ranked second among conference players in assists per set.

NJCU completed its season with a record of 20 wins and ten losses overall—including an undefeated run through CUNYAC play—and won its first CUNYAC championship before falling to Buffalo State in NCAA Tournament play-in action. This marked their third straight season reaching at least twenty wins.
