Summer is a few months away, but we have exciting news we could not wait to share

 The Division of Recreation to Hold CARPENTRY CAMP for 7th & 8th Grade Students this July!

 The camp open to students going into 7th & 8th Grade for the school year, 2023-2024, will have two separate sessions:

  •  Monday, July 10th to Thursday, July 13th
  •  Monday, July 17th to Thursday, July 20th

 9am to 12pm each day

15 Students per session

Camp will be limited to 15 students per session

With limited spaces, there will be a lottery system to attend the program.

The deadline to register for the lottery is June 30, 2023.

Camp fees ($50.00/student) will be required before the start of camp for those who have been chosen through the lottery.

Please note: 

Power tools will not be used during camp.

Camp will be under the Direction of John McGuckin and staff from Bayonne High School.

“Carpentry is an important tool and we are excited for students to have this chance to learn an important life skill. It will be a great summer!” stated Pete Amadeo, Superintendent of Recreation.
