On April 7, 2025, Rep. Menendez emphasized the importance of the United States' role in global public health. In a statement commemorating World Health Day, he underscored the need to protect those advancements. Menendez stated, "The U.S. has long been a leader in global public health, and we should all be fighting to keep it that way.
