Rep. Rob Menendez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 8th district since 2023, has shared his thoughts and activities on social media regarding various political issues and events. Born in Hudson County, New Jersey, Menendez has been actively engaged in supporting housing programs and legal services in his community.

On March 18, 2025, Rep. Menendez expressed concern about actions taken by ICE agents under the Trump administration. "None of this is normal. ICE agents have detained and questioned U.S. citizens. Trump has ignored court orders. He has invoked the Aliens Enemy Act for the first time since WWII."

Later that day, he reported on an event held in Newark with fellow politicians Senator Andy Kim and Rep. LaMonica to support federal workforce initiatives and housing programs. "In Newark today with @SenatorAndyKim and @RepLaMonica to support our federal workforce and the housing programs that so many rely on." He emphasized their collective effort to resist proposed cuts to HUD by former President Trump.

On March 19, 2025, Menendez attended an event in Union City celebrating the opening of a new office for Northeast New Jersey Legal Services alongside Brian Stack NJ. "GREAT to be in Union City with @brianstacknj for the opening of Northeast New Jersey Legal Services' newest office!" He acknowledged their dedication to improving accessibility to legal services within his district.
