Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month

Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Hispanic Heritage Month was first observed in 1968 and is celebrated between September 15 and October 15 to incorporate the independence days of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office celebrates the cultures and accomplishments of our Hispanic community and neighbors not just this month, but every day.

Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana. Happy Hispanic Heritage Month.
