Of the 261,940 people living in Jersey in 2019, 50.4 percent (132,052) were women and 49.6 percent (129,888) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Hudson Today.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 90,826-to-88,149. In the 65 and over age range, there were 16,741 females and 12,228 males.
