Rep. Rob Menendez, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 8th district since 2023, addressed several issues of public concern in a series of posts on April 15, 2026.
On the eve of Tax Day, Menendez warned constituents about heightened scam activity: “With tomorrow’s Tax Day deadline fast approaching, scammers are working overtime. If you suspect you’ve been targeted by a scam, you can report it directly via the IRS fraud portal: https://t.co/Az4Sp3eIHf Our team is here to help—if you have questions or need assistance,” he posted on April 15.
Later that day, Menendez commented on the release of Pastor Yeison from Delaney Hall: “I know it’s difficult to feel hopeful in these challenging times but visiting Pastor Yeison after his release from Delaney Hall did just that. Grateful that he is home safe with his family & congregation but he should have never been there in the first place. The work continues https://t.co/mgkFFLXtKR” The post reflected ongoing concerns about local justice and community well-being.
In another update on April 15, Menendez highlighted progress on infrastructure initiatives: “Another major milestone met! We will continue fighting to deliver on the largest infrastructure project in the nation.
