Rep. Rob Menendez, U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 8th district since 2023, highlighted his recent activities and initiatives in a series of posts on June 1, 2026.

In his first post that day, Menendez wrote, “All eyes on Delaney. Thankful to have @RepJeffries on site this morning.” (June 1, 2026).

Later the same day, he shared updates from around his district: “From Delaney Hall to community events, we work hard every day to drive change and deliver results for everyone who calls this incredible district home. Checking on Gateway’s progress at Tonnelle Ave with our building trades and union partners.” (June 1, 2026).

In another tweet posted minutes later, Menendez announced new federal funding for local emergency services: “Delivering $775k in federal funding to @weehawkennj to upgrade public safety communications and improve emergency response times.” (June 1, 2026).

Rob Menendez has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 8th District since succeeding Albio Sires in 2023. Born in Hudson County in 1985 and currently residing in Jersey City, Menendez holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a JD from Rutgers University-Newark.
