Red Bull New York will host Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in the Round of 32 of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on April 15 at Sports Illustrated Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, according to an April 10 announcement.
The match marks the first time New York and Pittsburgh will meet in this tournament. The game will be available for viewing on Paramount+ and Red Bulls Radio through the Red Bull New York app and website.
Pittsburgh advanced to this stage after defeating Virginia Dream FC by a score of 2-0 in the second round of the competition. The Riverhounds currently hold seventh place in the USL Championship Eastern Conference.
This year marks Red Bull New York’s twenty-seventh entry into the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, where they have achieved a record of thirty-two wins, twenty-four losses, and five draws throughout their history in the tournament. Since moving to Sports Illustrated Stadium in 2010, they have remained unbeaten at home during Open Cup matches with ten wins and four draws.
