Red Bull New York will travel to Stade Saputo to play against CF Montréal on April 18, according to an announcement on Apr. 22. The match is set for a 2:30 p.m. ET kickoff, with coverage available in English and Spanish on Apple TV and in English via Red Bulls Radio.
The game comes as Red Bull New York holds a record of three wins, two draws, and two losses for a total of eleven points this season. Their opponent, CF Montréal, has one win and six losses with three points so far.
Julian Hall has been highlighted as a key player for Red Bull New York ahead of the match. The club said Hall “is on a tear,” noting his recent performance that included scoring twice in the U.S. Open Cup and recording two assists in his last Major League Soccer appearance. This season, Hall has contributed seven goals or assists in MLS matches—tied for second-most in the Eastern Conference and fifth overall across the league.
The team is also looking to recover from an earlier loss this season against CF Montréal. According to the club’s communications director Andrew Vazzano, “New York have earned three results in their last four trips to Quebec and are unbeaten in five of their last six matches.” The team currently ranks third among all clubs for shots on target with forty-five this season and is tied for third overall with one hundred nine total shots taken.
The upcoming fixture provides both teams an opportunity to change their momentum early in the campaign.
