The announcement provides details on which players from both teams will be available or sidelined due to injuries or suspensions. For Red Bull New York, Gustav Berggren is suspended and will not play. Justin Che is out with a hamstring injury, and A.J. Marcucci is sidelined with a knee injury. Dylan Nealis is listed as questionable due to an ankle issue.
FC Cincinnati faces its own roster challenges. Stefan Chirila and Roman Celentano are dealing with leg injuries, with Chirila ruled out and Celentano considered questionable for the match. Kristian Fletcher has a knee injury and will not play, while Miles Robinson and Gerardo Valenzuela are both suspended.
