On Sunday, Feb. 23, former High Tech High School standout Nayah Diaz’s current college team, the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Jackson Athletic Complex against Goldey-Beacom Lightning.
