The FIFA World Cup 2026 New York New Jersey Host Committee announced on May 12 that the NYNJ World Cup 26 Jersey Fan Hub will be open for fans on eight group stage dates and eight knockout stage dates at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey. The fan hub will operate throughout the tournament, providing a destination for live match viewing and entertainment.
The announcement matters as it offers soccer fans in the region a central location to gather, watch matches, and participate in various activities during one of the world’s largest sporting events. The initiative is part of broader efforts by the host committee to ensure accessibility, inclusion, and community impact across New York and New Jersey.
The Jersey Fan Hub’s group stage programming begins Sunday, June 14, with additional dates through Friday, June 26. Knockout round events run from Wednesday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 15. Fans can expect real-time broadcasts on a large screen set up on the pitch floor as well as live entertainment and interactive activations. Opening Day features a Family Day with youth-focused programming including a KIDZ BOP LIVE concert and player meet-and-greets alongside streams of Germany vs. Curaçao and Netherlands vs. Japan matches.
A central gathering area called Hype House will offer amenities such as multiple large TVs, a bar with seating around all sides, musical performances, and special appearances. Tickets for group stage days are available now via Sports Illustrated Tickets; tickets for knockout rounds will be released later. Admission is $10 per person (inclusive of fees), while children aged twelve or under can enter free when accompanied by an adult.
According to organizers, “the NYNJ Host Committee is responsible for ensuring the FIFA World Cup 2026 is experienced across the region,” emphasizing their focus on “accessibility, inclusion, and community impact.” They say that “the Jersey Fan Hub…reflects that commitment” through live match viewings and cultural programming intended to engage local communities.
Sports Illustrated Stadium serves as home to Red Bull New York (Major League Soccer) and NY/NJ Gotham FC (National Women’s Soccer League). Since opening in 2010 in Harrison’s urban center near transit options it has hosted sports matches as well as concerts and other major events year-round.
