The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the field for the 2025 Women’s Volleyball Championship, with New Jersey City University (NJCU) earning the #2 seed. The event will be hosted by FDU-Florham in Danbury, Connecticut, on Sunday, November 23. This year’s championship is structured as a one-day tournament featuring four teams.

The ECAC, which was founded over eighty-five years ago and includes more than 200 member schools across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, organizes championships and tournaments to support student-athletes in intercollegiate athletics throughout the Northeast. In addition to traditional sports competitions, the conference has expanded its offerings to include esports leagues involving over sixty colleges and universities.

This appearance marks NJCU’s return to the ECAC Tournament for the first time since 2022. The Gothic Knights will play against host FDU-Florham at 1:00 pm. The winner of this match will move on to compete in the championship game scheduled for 3:00 pm.

NJCU secured its postseason spot following a strong season that concluded with a 15-9 record—their best performance since 2022.
