NJCU capitalized on early errors from CCNY to establish control in the first set. After an initial deficit in the second set, NJCU responded with multiple runs to take command. Head coach Carlo Edra commented on the team’s performance: “This trimatch was a big team day. Every single player was able to hit the court and take care of business. March is an important month because it builds momentum for the conference playoffs, and starting with a couple of wins is a good start.”
