NJCU Gothic Knights prepare for busy week of athletic competitions

The New Jersey City University (NJCU) Gothic Knights are preparing for a full week of athletic events from February 16 to 22. The schedule includes competitions in men’s volleyball, women’s wrestling, track and field, and men’s basketball.

On Wednesday, February 18, the women’s basketball team will play against Rutgers University-Camden at the Athletic and Fitness Center in Camden. The men’s volleyball team is set to face New Paltz at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center in Jersey City on the same day. Later that evening, they will travel to compete against Rutgers-University Camden.

Men’s volleyball continues its busy week with a home match against Brooklyn College on Friday, February 20 at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.

Saturday features several key events. The track and field teams will participate in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships at the Ott Center in Philadelphia. Women’s wrestling will compete at the NCAA Regionals held at LECOM Events Center in Elmira, New York.

Men’s basketball begins postseason play by hosting the first round of the NJAC Men’s Basketball Tournament at home; details about their opponent are yet to be determined.
