NJCU Gothic Knights announce schedule of athletic events for January 5-11

The New Jersey City University (NJCU) Gothic Knights are set for a busy week of athletic events from January 5 to 11, with competitions in men’s and women’s basketball as well as men’s wrestling. All home games will take place at the John J. Moore Athletics & Fitness Center in Jersey City.

On Wednesday, January 7, the women’s basketball team will play against Montclair State University at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s basketball game against Montclair State at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for both events can be purchased online through the NJCU ticketing portal at https://events.hometownticketing.com/boxoffice/njcu/L2VtYmVkL2FsbD9wYXRoPXdiYXNrZXQ%3D.

The men’s wrestling team will host Elizabethtown College on Friday, January 9, at 7:00 p.m. The event is designated as Senior Night and will also be held at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.

On Saturday, January 10, both basketball teams will travel to face William Paterson University in Wayne, N.J. The women’s game begins at 1:00 p.m., and the men’s game follows at 3:00 p.m. Tickets for these away games are available through William Paterson University’s website at https://www.wpupioneers.com/sports/2021/9/20/tickets.aspx.
