The New Jersey City University (NJCU) Gothic Knights are scheduled to participate in 10 athletic events during the week of February 9-15. The schedule features men’s and women’s basketball games at the John J. Moore Athletics & Fitness Center (JMAC), as well as the second annual Garden State Collegiate Duals for women’s wrestling.
On Monday, February 9, the men’s volleyball team will play against the University of Mount Saint Vincent at the Peter Jay Sharp Center in Riverdale, New York, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, February 11, will see both women’s and men’s basketball teams traveling to Montclair State University. The women’s game is set for 5:00 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:00 p.m., both held at Panzer Athletic Center in Montclair, New Jersey.
Saturday’s schedule includes several home and away events. The track and field team will compete in the New York University DIII Invitational at The Armory in New York City beginning at 10:00 a.m. Back on campus, NJCU hosts The College of New Jersey with women’s basketball tipping off at 1:00 p.m., followed by men’s basketball at 3:00 p.m., both held at JMAC in Jersey City. On Sunday, February 15, men’s wrestling travels to Lock Haven University for a match starting at 9:00 a.m. in Thomas Fieldhouse (Lock Haven, Pennsylvania). Men’s volleyball will also play two matches that day during a trimatch hosted by Drew University in Madison, New Jersey; matches are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Additionally, NJCU’s women’s wrestling team will take part in the Garden State Collegiate Duals hosted by Centenary University on Sunday afternoon. That event begins at 2:00 p.m. inside John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
