NJCU athletics announces schedule for April 27 to May 3 events

New Jersey City University announced on April 27 the upcoming schedule for NJCU Gothic Knights athletic events, which will take place from April 27 through May 3. The week features a total of ten competitions, including Senior Day celebrations for both baseball and softball at the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex.

The announcement provides details about each event, including dates, times, and locations. On Monday, April 27, the softball team will host William Paterson University in a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Gerrity Complex in Jersey City.

On Wednesday, April 29, the softball team travels to Lehman College in the Bronx for another doubleheader scheduled for the same times. Also on Wednesday, baseball will play against Saint Elizabeth University at FDU-Florham in Madison at 4:00 p.m.

Baseball’s Senior Day is set for Thursday, April 30 with a home game against Saint Elizabeth University beginning at 4:00 p.m., again at the Gerrity Complex. The weekend includes track and field participation in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Ramapo College in Mahwah on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, softball will hold its Senior Day with a doubleheader versus Brooklyn College on Saturday afternoon.
