The Bookmobile of the Jersey City Free Public Library is a gift from the Jersey City Free Public Library Foundation to the dedicated patrons of the City. It is a disabled-accessible, custom-designed Bookmobile with two public access computers, a DVD player for short films, and an eclectic collection of books.

To apply for a free library card, visit the Bookmobile and bring a photo ID and proof that you live, work or attend school in Jersey City.

In case of inclement weather or mechanical issues, JCFPL Bookmobile may be off the road or will arrive and depart the destination at stated times. For updates, information on holiday closures, locations, and more visit www.jclibrary.org/locations-a-hours/bookmobile. If the Bookmobile is not at its site, if you are interested in having the Bookmobile at your site, or, if you have any comments or concerns, please call: Mobile (201) 706-1870 or Office (201) 547-5666.
