On Saturday, March 22, former Bayonne High School standout Makoye Diawara’s current collegiate team the Norfolk State Spartans lost 82-69 against the Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Xfinity Center, this was the first game against the Maryland Terrapins during the championship.

Makoye Diawara’s hometown is Bayonne and game position is forward.
