On Friday, March 22, former Bayonne High School standout Makoye Diawara’s current collegiate team the Norfolk State Spartans lost 79-50 against the Stanford Cardinals in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Stanford, California, this was the first game against the Stanford Cardinals during the championship.
