High Tech High School standout Nayah Diaz’s college team lost in NCAA Division II softball game on Saturday, March 1

On Saturday, March 1, former High Tech High School standout Nayah Diaz’s current college team, the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning.

The game took place at Jackson Athletic Complex. This was their second matchup against the Lightning this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs.
