On Friday, Feb. 21, former James J. Ferris High School standout Jacob Ruiz’s current college team, the St. John’s Red Storm, lost 7-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Deacons this season.

The Red Storm’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. at David F. Couch Ballpark against Wake Forest Deacons.
