City Clerk Madelene Medina announced that early voting for Bayonne voters for the June 6 Primary Election will take place on the following dates and times in the Council Chambers at City Hall:

Friday, June 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

City Hall is located at 630 Avenue C, between 27th and 28th Streets.  Designated, short-term parking spaces for voters will be established in front of City Hall for June 2,3, and 4. The Council Chambers are located inside City Hall on the ground floor of the building, immediately inside the main glass door entrance to the building.

The offices up for nomination in the June 6 Primary Election in both the Democratic and Republican Parties are Hudson County Executive, New Jersey State Senator, New Jersey General Assembly Members (two), and Hudson County Commissioner (formerly known as County Freeholder). Voters from all three wards of Bayonne will be allowed to participate in the early voting at City Hall.  Votes cast in the early voting period will be counted with those cast in the voter’s municipality of residence on Primary Election Day, which is Tuesday, June 6.

Only those who are registered to vote in the City of Bayonne may participate in the early voting program in the Bayonne Council Chambers for the 2023 Primary Election. Voters registered to vote in places outside of Bayonne who wish to take part in early voting must do so in the municipality in which they are registered to vote. Anyone who votes early on June 2, 3, or 4 will not be allowed to vote on Primary Election Day, which is Tuesday, June 6, because they will have voted already.  Voting in primary elections in New Jersey is limited to those who are registered members of a political party and to those previously unaffiliated voters who declare themselves to be members of a particular political party on Primary Election Day.  Voters may vote in only their own party’s primary.

The early voting process in Bayonne will be administered by City Clerk Medina and her staff.
