The Brazilian Football Confederation announced on May 24 that it has chosen the Columbia Park Training Facility in Morris Township, New Jersey, as its Team Base Camp training site for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The decision is significant because the Columbia Park Training Facility serves as the performance center for Major League Soccer’s Red Bull New York. The facility was among the most requested options by national teams, according to the Brazilian Federation.

The complex spans an 80-acre parcel and includes eight full-size outdoor soccer pitches with a combination of heated, irrigated natural grass and turf surfaces. It also features advanced training technology such as multi-angle camera tracking systems designed to aid analytics and player development. The facility will offer a custom-designed building equipped with gyms, a dining hall, medical suite, innovation lab, and physiotherapy spaces to support preparation and recovery.

“We are very pleased with this decision,” said Carlo Ancelotti, head coach of Brazil, according to the Brazilian Federation, “The Training Center is new, modern and offers all the conditions for our work, before and during the World Cup. I want to thank them for welcoming us and showing us all the space.”

Brazil will compete in Group C alongside Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti. The team’s group stage matches are scheduled at New York New Jersey Stadium against Morocco, in Philadelphia against Haiti, and in Miami against Scotland.

Looking ahead to the tournament preparations at their selected base camp in New Jersey, Brazil aims to utilize these facilities fully during their campaign.
