On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Bayonne High School standout Michael Pellegrino’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Grove City Wolverines.

The game took place at Owen-Fulton Field. This was their second matchup against the Wolverines this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Ted Leonard Park against Greensboro Pride.
