On Saturday, March 29, former Bayonne High School standout Michael Pellegrino’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, lost 12-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Bridgewater Eagles.

The game took place at Bridgewater Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 3 p.m. at Owen-Fulton Field against Ferrum Panthers.
