During the first quarter of 2026, Alaris Health at Hamilton Park was the third largest nursing facility in Hudson County, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Figures show the center offered 260 beds, 99 more than the county average for the period. On average, the facility cared for 174.7 residents in that timeframe.
Alaris Health at Hamilton Park received a 4 out of 5 overall rating from the CMS, outperforming the New Jersey nursing home average of 3.4.
For the quarter, Optima Care Fountains led Hudson County with 334 beds, followed by Hudsonview Health Care Center with 273 beds.
Alaris Health at Hamilton Park reported no fines or penalties during the first quarter of 2026.

U.S. Census Bureau estimates indicate that the nation’s older adult demographic continues to rise, while younger groups are declining. Between 2020 and 2024, those age 65 and up increased by 13%, whereas the under-18 population decreased by 1.7%. The United States’ older adult population has expanded significantly over the last century, rising from 4.9 million in 1920 to more than 61 million in 2024.
A 2021 study found that about half of people in this age range—around 28 million—could require long-term services and support. The analysis also forecasts that over one-third may ultimately need nursing home care.
“Living a long life is something that many of us want and could get,” said Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. “But when we live a long life, the chances of us needing long-term care increase exponentially. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
